After studying journalism and political science in the United States, Karine Granier-Deferre worked for 20 years as a photo editor for the International Herald Tribune and the International New York Times. She now divides her time between photo editing for the French press (Le Monde, La Vie, Histoire & Civilisations) and writing, notably children’s books.
